"Power Rangers" - REVIEW / REACTION VIDEO BY RAMZY

Here's this week's review! To be quite honest, I went in to this movie with not too high of expectations. I was bracing myself for it to be some half-assed, Hollywood-manufactured crap, but what did I think of it in the end? Check out the video to find out! Is the new movie a worthy rehash of the movies/TV show?

I imagine a lot of people from my generation grew up watching "Power Rangers" and might be interested about the movie so be sure to check the review out to see if it's worth the ticket price or not!

  1. Thanks for this non-spoiler review. I really want to watch this movie, but I don't want to shell out any money as of the moment because I am saving for something else. Mag huwat nalang kog copy. HAHAHA

  2. My Fridays were never complete without watching the original TV series of the Power Rangers. Back then, even the stupid-looking CGI was already awesome for us, even those ghastly CGI in the movie version too. I actually love all the rangers because they all had a part. Jason, Trini, Billy, Zach, Kimberly, and the walang kamatayan na Green Ranger nga nahimong white nga naa gihapon sa ubang Power Ranger franchise (grabihag niyag life span sa TV series uy). I really love the original ensemble. The next ensembles? I didn't quite like it. I didn't see how the TV series ended. As usual, Channel 3 is good in showing TV series and not showing the ending part. Or ako ra ang wala kakita sa last episode?

  3. Despite their over-the-top costumes and the disappointing fight scene at the end, Power Rangers boasts a surprisingly good story and impressive performances from its up-and-coming cast that make this present-day reboot of the popular 90s TV show a decent film to watch. I personally loved how they incorporated relevant themes and issues into the story, making each of the characters as real and well-developed as possible.

  4. The review's good! But I kinda have a beef with you saying that the guy should be the one to have the homosexual themes it has. I don't mind that the girl has those traits but maybe the producers need to flesh this out more in future movies since this is a franchise. (Are there big-budget movies that are NOT part of franchises anymore though?)

  6. I loved Power Rangers back in the days. It has been part of my childhood. My younger brother & I would never miss it. I haven't watched this movie yet but I'm definitely watching (when the time comes, haha). Hope it brings the childhood "spark".
