THE GREATEST STAR WARS MOVIE YOU DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT

"Star War The Third Gathers: The Backstroke of the West"

Often referred to as Star War Episode III: The Backstroke of the West or shortened to Backstroke of the West is a bootlegged version of Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It all started with this blogpost where a guy discovers a bootleg DVD copy of the movie while staying in China and after playing it, finds that the copy had some interesting translation issues. The bootleg contains hilarious English subtitles translated poorly from Chinese. Due to the language barrier, many of the words and phrases were translated either literally or with alternate meanings, and thus the original meaning was lost...quite hilariously at that. Even the names of the characters got brutalized. Haha. Most likely, the broken English is the result of being machine translated from the Chinese script. Curiously, the subtitles were translated from a Chinese translation when the original English script could have been used.

Below is a full copy of the movie you can watch and enjoy! What's even greater is that while the original copy found by the guy who discovered it and wrote that blogpost had the original English dialog, some wonderful folks put in the work to actually redub the whole thing to match the mistranslated subtitles! I had so much fun watching this a while ago and even saw it again just recently. So if you're into stupid, fun humor, this will definitely tickle your funny bone quite well. Enjoy!
